Plant included the following sections when commissioned: - Oil Pretreatment: Acid degumming, continuous oil neutralising / stripping, barometric water cooling system, high pressure steam heating system. - Biodiesel Production: Methylester and glycerine production, transesterification, methylester / glycerine separation, methanol rectification, glycerine purification and concentration, citric acid preparation, oil drying, additives dosing. - Acid Esterification Currently only available in situ. Plant is not complete; it requires approximately 50% of the biodiesel line and 20% of the refining line restoring.

Automated production of biodiesel from pre-treatment of feedstock (vegetable oil), base transesterification, water washing, methanol recovery, evaporation of water, waste water treatment, addition of additives and filtration of final product. Major equipment includes: reactors, columns, evaporators for methanol and water, various pumps, mass flow meters, compressors for cooling, compressors technical air, natural gas (or glycerol) boiler, waste water treatment equipment, water treatment equipment, tank farm, SCADA system. Plant was built in 2008 and shut down in 2017. Available in-situ or for relocation.

The glycerin to epichlorohydrin plant consists of (2) separate production plants as follows: 1 - Plant for production of 99.5% technical glycerin from 80-85% crude glycerin using multi-stage distillation and rectification. 2 - Plant for production of dichloropropanols (DCP). Technical glycerin is subjected to multistage hydrochlorination by wet and dry method to obtain DCP. DCP is the intermediate product for production of Epichlorhydrin. Note - No equipment for producing Epichlorohydrin from DCP available.
